Movie Maker
So I was bored the other night while Matt was gone and decided to try out the movie maker program on our computer. It was so fun. It took me forever to figure out how to put music to it. I can't add any music from itunes, frustrating. I finally figured out how to rip a song from a cd for it, but all our songs are on itunes. I really need to find a way to do it from there. Oh well, good first try. Anyway, it was a fun way to pass the time while Matt was at school.

Our Muscle Man
I had my 4D ultrasound this week. I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I have seen some of these ultrasounds and they were so amazing. The picture is so clear and you can totally make out detail. Mine was not like that, so I went in with too great of expectations. It still was awesome, don't get me wrong. The tech pointed out all of his organs and I saw perfect images of all of his fingers and toes. It was cool to see how fast his heart was beating and to distinguish all four quadrants. Technology seriously is incredible! This was the best picture I got actually printed out from her. He looks so relaxed with his ankles crossed.
As she was going around all the body parts she stopped on his leg and commented on his good muscle. I didn't even think about babies having muscle at this point. Matt couldn't come, but I was sure to relay the message and he was thrilled. He has talked about how we will have the most ripped newborn ever, so this news only helped with his theory. Toads
Jed didn't have school today because of President's day. They wanted to do something fun and different, so we all headed up to Toads. We ordered pizza and the kids played on the arcades. Corinne and Beau had just as much fun just sitting on the toys without them even moving. I need to start bringing my camera places. All of my pictures lately have been from my phone so their not tremendous, but at least I have some.
Beau loved this little merri-go-round, he didn't want to get off.

They definitely have to move for Jed and Gage's liking, but they had a blast. This roller coaster ride was one of the favorites.

Gage won 1000 tickets with this one game. Thanks to him they both came out with lots of cool toys.

The Crib
So here is my crib. I actually don't have it yet, but it's on it's way.

I have been extremely bored since Matt went back to school so I have spent a ton of time on the internet trying to decide what to buy. I finally decided on this one and bought it online. When it came in I got on the internet to print off my receipt and saw that this exact crib was now on a special buy and came with a free matress, which happened to be more expensive than the one I had bought. So I talked to customer service and the only way I could get the deal was return everything and buy it again. Seems like a hassel for them, but it saves me $50, so why not? Hopefully they should ship the crib out within the next two weeks.
I recieved my crib bedding yesterday. I love it! It has some major ironing that needs to be done, but I am so excited for it!
Beijing Buffet
On Friday my parents treated our family to dinner at the Beijing Buffet in Brigham City. I have to admit, I was a little leery at first. I am not a huge fan of buffets or Chinese food. But, I was surprisingly impressed. They had really good food, even if I did only try the usual rice and sweet and sour chicken. They had wonderful ice cream too, which had to be my favorite part. This is Beau devouring his, he loved it as much as me.
This is not a great picture, I look disgusting and the boys do not look the slightest bit happy, but they really did have fun.
Thanks mom and dad for our dinner night. As we were walking out Matt added, "Well I didn't pay for it, but Happy Valentine's Day babe!" Isn't he just so thoughtful?

Grandpa Thompson
I love my Grandpa Thompson! This picture was taken at Thanksgiving this past year. He absolutely hates getting his picture taken, but luckily, he does it anyway (not that he really has much of a choice.) Before I got married I would go with my parents to visit him almost every other Sunday. I don't get many opportunities anymore. He is one amazing man. One of my favorite things that I hear him say repeatedly is when someone mentions how large his family is getting, he replies, "Zion is growing." What a wonderful example for us to follow as we continue to build up Zion.
