iFly

For Matt's birthday, last year, I gave him an iFly ticket. Well, it expires in two weeks so he decided he really needed to make time to do it. So after school last night we hurried over before they closed. I think Matt got the best colored suit available.
He seemed to do good, he didn't have to get adjusted as much as the other guy with him. He had fun, but he said it wasn't as easy as he expected it to be. It looked kind of scary to me, I don't know if I would really want to do it.
Now he did that it's probably about time to start thinking of ideas for this years birthday.

Physical Therapy

Yesterday was Corbin's first day of physical therapy. He has torticollis and plagiocephaly. In other words, the muscles in his neck are tight and he cannot turn his head to the left and therefore has a flat left side of his head. Who knew there were so many consequences of this. His right side of his face is bulging out because his brain and skull have to grow forward because there is always pressure on the back of his head.
We go to Primary Children's Physical Therapy on Harrison, across from Weber State. His physical therapist is Emily, and she's awesome. For being his first day he did pretty good. His head is lopsided by ten milimeters. If he were over six months we wouldn't be doing PT we would be looking at helmets. Because it is early we have the next three months to prevent having to wear that terrible helmet.
This picture might not mean much to you, but I love it. Already I am very impressed with the PT. After only one day and his home excercises, he slept on the left side of his head for his whole nap! Two days ago I would turn his head to the left and just minutes later it would be on his right side. Yesterday I turn his head and it stayed for over an hour. Hopefully this means he will make great progress and PT won't have to last for three months or more.

Bath Time

Corbin has always seemed to enjoy baths, but today he LOVED it! He was smiling almost the entire time. It was so cute to watch him kick and splash. I finally had to get him out because I was getting so wet.

My church-going men

Aren't they handsome?
