Hair Cut

 Last week Maggie cut her hair. It wasn't bad, it took me a week to even decide if I would take her in to get it fixed. She cut a few different pieces to different lengths in the back, but she also cut bangs. The bangs were super random and uneven so I decided to get her a hair cut. Oh my word, I love it! She was so cute at the salon. She thought Amber was pretty cool too, even though Maggie wouldn't actually talk while we were there.

 I loved the final result. Her bangs are so cute. I will just let them grow out because I don't want to maintain them though. Maggie hates them. She gets so mad that they are in her way and is mad at me that I got her hair cut, even though she is the one who really cut her bangs in the first place. 

Ultimately I feel very lucky that Maggie's hair cutting fared as well as it did.

Winter Party

Corbin has been wanting to invite all of his cousins over for a party for a while and finally I let him the other day. It worked out good because he was sick on New Year's Eve, so this was a decent substitute.Corbin decided on all the games: hide the snowflake, snowman toss, snowball cleanup, winter Bingo and we ended with hot chocolate and cookies.

It was a little crazy, and Kent didn't want to sleep through it all, but it was fun. 

On New Year's Eve, Corbin was sick so we stayed home and did nothing. Maggie was so mad she just kept telling me it was the stupidest New Year's ever.
