First Day of School

We were all pretty excited to go back to school this year. Corbin maybe the least excited. He started fourth grade with Mrs. Frost and Mrs. Westergard.
Maggie was thrilled to be in second grade with Mrs. Oglesby.
Kent had to wait a whole week to start Kindergarten with Mrs. Butler.

Corbin and Maggie ride their bikes to school together in the mornings. I run with the stroller while Kent rides his bike to school for afternoon Kindergarten and then they all come home together. It has been so wonderful so far. Kent loves it the most I think. Good thing he learned to ride a bike just in time.

Kanab

The weekend before school started was the Jenkins' vacation to Kanab. It was a pretty long drive for me, but it was a fun weekend. We stayed in a super nice house with three levels so the babies had a level, the adults chatted in the kitchen and family room and the kids pretty much stayed downstairs.
The first night we just ate dinner and hung out. Kent loved that he could pretty much watch screens the whole night (and a ton the whole weekend.)
Thursday and Friday we spent hiking and doing side by side rides. Matt tried to take Malcolms rental Jeep on one of the trails and got it stuck in the sand. Everyone was waiting on him to hike (we didn't realize that.) So the majority of the family didn't even get to do the coolest hike because they were waiting for so long. Ellie had to go back to nurse so we had to send a full car load back. I felt pretty bad about that because it was a super short hike and it was so pretty! Pretty much every picture I took on this vacation was on the one hike.
Matt didn't get to hike it either so we went back on the can am later that night. I think it was even cooler in the evening.
There was a pool at the resort by us that my kids went to a couple times. Claire and I never went though. It was a pretty low key hang out vacation, but super fun. My kids really just love being around their cousins the whole weekend.
