Primary

Yay for primary, I love it! I made our teacher appreciation gifts for this quarter and thought they turned out super cute! I also just realized Shannon and I will always do sharing time on the same week. Melissa and Meri will be on the same week every few months. Here's to collaborating!

Kangaroo Zoo

Shannon called and invited us to go to Kangaroo Zoo with her today. We went right when it opened and I paid for Corb thinking he would just go play with Shannon's kids and Maggie could just walk around. Neither of those ideas worked. Corbin wanted me to do everything with him and Maggie tried to climb into any toy she could. So I ended up paying for me and Maggie. I have to admit it was pretty fun. Maggie had a blast at first. Sadly, she was so super tired and we ended up leaving only an hour and a half into it. Corbin could have stayed way longer and I would have let him to get our moneys worth, but it was getting too hard with Maggie. Overall, it was great fun!

Corbin officially HATES pictures! He had so much fun and as soon as he saw me take this picture he was ticked. I tried to be sneaky about it, but somehow he always saw me.

Backyard Campout

Matt got a tent for Christmas and he has been wanting to put it up since. Last Friday he and Corb set it up right when Matt got home from work. I told Matt before he set it up that it was supposed to be 44 degrees that night, but he thought he would just set it up for them to play in for a bit. Corbin was so excited to sleep in the big tent dad set up, there was no talking him out of it. It was only five o'clock and Corb ran inside to get his pillow and sleeping bag. He just kept asking if it was time to go to sleep yet.
The kids had a blast just rolling around and playing.
Finally at 7:00 I put Maggie down and Matt and Corbin went outside all ready to sleep. Corbin even wore his monster pajamas that he hates because I told him they would be the warmest ones. I stayed out for a few minutes and hung out then I came in when it got dark so Matt could work on getting Corbin to sleep.
At about 9:30 I went out and woke Matt up and we brought Corbin in to sleep in his bed. I though 44 degrees may be a little too cold. It ended up being super windy, so I am glad I went and got them. Even though Corb woke up in his bed the next morning, he still thought it was super fun.

New Calling

I have been teaching the four and five year olds in my ward for about four months now. I love primary! It is such a fun switch from Young Womens, totally different. My three little boys are out of control, but I have really enjoyed it. Sunday I was put in as the Primary 2nd Counselor. I am so excited for this new calling! I have never been in primary (before the first of the year) and I am so ready to work with this great presidency and primary kids.
