Petting Zoo

Corbin had his first field trip with Reading Express Preschool last week. We went to Carver's Cove Petting Zoo. Kael is in the three year old class and all the fieldtrips are combined, so Shannon and I rode up together with our kids. I had never been there before, because I had Kent the day Corbin was supposed to go last year. My kids had so much fun.

It was a good thing Shannon was there because I hate animals, they are so gross. I didn't want to touch them or the food. I encouraged my kids to, I just wouldn't. Maggie was way more brave than Corbin, of course. She would feed and pet all the animals. Corbin finally decided he would feed the animals from the lid, but never his hand.
We were in line to ride the horse and I was making Kent a bottle. I hear everyone in front of me asking who this child belongs to. Maggie had cut in front of all the little kids waiting in line and was sitting on the horse. The owner wanted to know who's child was riding the horse. Maggie had so much fun!
We all ate lunch together and then headed home. It was a fun way to spend the morning. I love field trips.

Four Months

At Kent's four month appointment he was 17 lbs 6 oz (86%) and 25.1 in long (52%). His head was 94%. His doctor told me we will have to watch his head size because it jumped so much from last time. He is rolling from his stomach to his back and has rolled the other way, but not much. He is still a great sleeper, about nine hours a night. He laughs and is basically always happy, when he is being held.

Preschool

Corbin was so excited to start preschool again today. When he was done and telling me all about it, he told me it was even funner than Ms. Kim's, his three year old class. He told me he had a Grace and Judd in his class, and lots more, but he couldn't remember their names. For snack they had graham crackers, chocolate chips, and marshmallows.
I am so glad he liked it! Especially because it is in Plain City and we are still living in Ogden, so it isn't exactly convenient.
Corbin loves to pull silly faces now, he always asks me to take one more with a silly face.
