Soccer Tournament

This past weekend Corbin had a soccer tournament in St. George. Matt took the boys down to that and I stayed home with the girls so they could go to dance. It was weird to have Van gone all weekend and have the days alone while the girls were at school. It was super nice, but weird. I cleaned, went to the temple, exercised, read. After school was just normal, activity days and dance.
Corbin's team did great in their tournaments and won first place! The first time ever in a tournament. This is the team they lost to in this tournament last year. They played this team in their first game this week and lost 0-2 and then won in the championship game 2-0! I wish I had been there. The boys seemed to have had fun on their little boys trip.

February happenings

There was no school on Valentine's day this year, so it was celebrated on the 13th. Kent got to make his box at home and made a lap pool. Van was excited to bring treats to school, but thrilled when he got home and everyone had brought him one too. I didn't get a picture of Claire. They decorated bags at school this year.
Maggie was named Student of the Month for February from Mr. Harris. She didn't know who nominated her when we got there and none of the teachers there were hers. So she was worried that she came and wasn't getting an award. But Mr. Harris just had surgery so another teacher read her nomination for him.
Crazy hair day for elementary
We finally used our gift card to Social Axe throwing that we got for Christmas in 2021. It was pretty fun, but too expensive to ever go without a giftcard. I was not very good at all.
Van and Great Grandma Davis were playing at Sunday Dinner. They were trying to stack the cows as high as they could without them tipping.

Build a Bear

My mom gave Claire a trip to Build a Bear for her birthday. We went down a couple weeks ago. She loved it! She chose a cute pink axolotl and named her Coco. She picked out the outfit and got a little brush for it. Claire loved it!

Claire is SEVEN!

Claire had entire week of birthday this week! She celebrated with Grandma Jenkins on Sunday. She got a present in the mail on Tuesday from Aunt Meri. She was super excited about that one. Wednesday was her actual birthday. She brought treats to school, opened a present after school, got a treat at piano lessons, and brought treats to dance. That night Grandma and Grandpa Davis came over and she opened presents with them. Friday night she had a birthday part with her friends at Neptune Skating.

January

January is a pretty boring month, here's some randoms. My mom and I took Van to the train museum for the first time. It was way more fun than I was expecting. We will have to go back soon.
We got home from church one day and the power was out so we were locked out of the house. We hung out outside for a bit and then headed out to my parents until Matt came home from church and got in through a window.
Claire lost a tooth!
Michelle and Adam took all the littles to see Mufasa.
Kent had a swim meet in Bountiful and got a new PR in every race he was in.

New Years

New Years Eve was a little different this year because Corbin, Maggie, and Kent all were with their friends. Claire, Van, Matt, and I went to my parents and hung out with them and Steph and Joe for a while.
On New Year's Day we took our family out to Antelope Island. It was so fun to hike around out there. We go for Easter every year, but we never just explore. Then we went to Farmington Station for  to return a couple things and bought dinner. It was a fun day!
