Thompson Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we went with my mom's family. Dinner was delicious. Afterwards they did a little carnival for the kids with a ton of prizes to choose from. Corbin was a pro at all of the games, but he didn't exactly play by all the rules.
I think this was Corb's favorite game, and maybe my least favorite. Corbin isn't quite as scared of Joe as he used to be.
My dad brought all of his train sets to let the kids watch and Corbin was intrigued. I think he liked hanging out with Grandpa as much as watching the trains. He is in love with Grandpa!

Fall Leaves

Yay for good weather! Yesterday was so nice that Corbin and I spent the afternoon outside. We have so many leaves that I have been raking up, but Corbin never shows any interest in them. Finally yesterday I started throwing him into the pile and he loved it!
I love that Corb is getting old enough to enjoy some of these things. Playing in the leaves is such a fun little kid past time! It makes me want to jump right in with him.

It's a GIRL!!!

Well, for those of you who already heard our new little one was a boy, Dr. Housel was wrong! He wasn't sure, since it was just a 14 week ultrasound, but I was sure it was a boy. I would have loved my little boy to pieces, but I am so excited for a little girl! Matt was a little saddened by the change of gender, just because he had his heart set on Kent Noland Jenkins, but he will love this little girl like crazy. He loves rough and tumble, but he sure has a soft spot for little girls.

Halloween

Corb sported a little robot costume and was able to go trick or treating to three houses, plus the grandmas of course. Really, I thought a child needs to be old enough to say trick or treat in order to go, but it was pretty low key.
We missed Shannon and her kids at my Grandpa's house, but here is the rest of the Davis grandkids. Corbin is a little unsure about all this.
It was a good thing we didn't let Corbin go too many places because his parents ate his little stash within two days. All in all, a fun night.

Denver

Well, I don't have much to say on this post since I wasn't there. But while we were all enjoying the corn maze, these boys were headed to Denver. It was a boys trip to visit Austin and to see a NFL game. They drove out on Friday and came home Sunday after the Lions v. Broncos game. Matt arrived home at 2:30 am then headed off to work Monday morning. Crazy Men!

Corn Maze

The weekend before Halloween my mom took all of us and our kids to the corn maze at the fish farm. Corbin had a hard time walking on top of all the corn stalks, but he had a great time looking at the decorations. He definitely isn't scared yet. He wanted to touch everything.
This was the best attempt of everyone in one picture. Cori thought it was a race because Steph said go to me as soon as she placed Corbin in his spot. Corbin just hates standing still for anything, especially for a picture. At least we know who was there. Kael is hiding behind Beau's head.
They each got a cup of fish food to throw in the ponds. Corb loved this part! He is a little to curious by the water so he had to be held, but he slowing fed his entire cup to all the fish. Such a fun fall morning!
