Swimming

Today Meri, Melissa, and I took our kids to the Clearfield Aquatic Center for some winter swimming. It was so much fun! We tried out this swim suit that was given to us, but it didn't go over too well. It through off his balance and he couldn't stand himself back up if he did fall. He did much better when I switched him into a normal suit. He never went past a foot and a half of water so really he didn't need it anyway. We got there right when it opened and there were only two other people in the entire pool. There was a swim meet in the big pool that was kind of loud, but we had pretty much free rein in the kid pool. By the end there were more people, but nothing like when we go on Memorial Day. It was great.

Aunt Meri took Corb down the big slide. His smile was HUGE! Then all he did the rest of the time was point to the big slide and the little one just wouldn't do.

Welcome 2012

Bryce and Erin had a little New Year's Eve Party at their house last night. It was fun to play games with no incidents. Then the little kiddos had their fun with games. We were the first to bail because Corbin was getting tired, but it was a fun party.

Matt and I played Super Mario on the Nintendo until 11:59. We turned it off with just enough time to see the ball drop and then headed off to bed. It was only midnight, but that is a late night for me.

Corbin tried his hand at the Nintendo when he woke up this morning. He helped Matt at first and then wanted his own turn. He totally figured out how to make Mario jump and was loving it! Man, he is getting old.Happy New Year!
