A Forever Family

Yesterday was an amazing day with the Trujillo family being sealed for time and all eternity! Melissa and Steve went through the Logan temple yesterday morning and then right after were sealed. I love going to sealings and this was one of the best. It was absolutely adorable to see Max and Morgan in their temple clothes in the sealing room. What an emotional day!

It was so wonderful to have almost the entire family at the temple together. Congratulations Steve and Missy! We love you and are so very proud of you!

Weber County Fair

I took Corbin to the Weber County Fair to see the animals. He loved to see all the animals, even though every single one was a "dog." Well, except the little puppies we saw, he wasn't quite sure what those were. There was a little girl that asked if Corbin would like to pet her lamb and he loved it! Erin met up with us right then to say hi so we were able to get a picture. He wasn't very soft, I kind of felt bad, but sheep are tough right? Corbin's cousin Ben loves loves the "Corbinator!" He wanted to walk him over to see the sting rays.

Corbin is still a little young for the fair, especially when it is just me and him, but the animals were totally worth it. And he won a sqeaky dinosaur at the fish pond so all in all, a good, but HOT day.

A night in with dad

For those of you who know us well, you are aware of Corbin's obsession with his father. If Matt is around, Corbin will have nothing to do with me, at all. Why? Maybe because he has the funnest dad in the entire world. What child wouldn't want to spend all of his waking hours in Matt's presence? Anyway, the other night I was gone and Matt and Corbin had a fun relaxing night at home together. Matt let Corbin eat dinner on the couch while watching tv.

He has all of his food and the remote and is just lounging. What more does a little boy need?! Just one of the many reasons dads, especially this one, are more fun than moms.
