iFly

Claire went to ifly last year for a preschool field trip. They offered a really good deal for us to buy flights for other people. I bought four to bring my kids one day and finally a year and a half later we did it. We went on Labor Day when the kids were off of school. Van didn't get to fly because he wasn't old enough when I bought the passes, but the guy was nice enough to let him put on a jumpsuit anyway. Once the kids were ready I was shocked at how similar Maggie and Corbin looked so I had to take their picture. It was pretty difficult to get a good picture through the tunnel, but I wanted to get at least one of each of them. Claire seemed to like it the most just from watching her doing it. They all said they enjoyed it, but I don't think I would ever pay to go again. They said they liked it when I asked and then it hasn't been talked about again. So I don't think it was anything too spectacular. I kind of wish I would have paid the extra $10 each for them to do a high flight, but I was too cheap.

Van's First Day of Preschool

Van started preschool last week at Bright Beginnings. His teachers are Ms. Shay, Ms. Kaelani and Ms. Kami. He was so excited to start! I rode my bike with him in the trailer on the first day and wasn't sure how long it would take, so we were super early. He waited very patiently until his teacher opened the door. He walked right in, but I followed him because all the other parents did. He went straight to the trains and I said bye and walked out. Ms. Shay texted me the picture of him at his table later and told me he did awesome! Van was so excited when I picked him up afterwards. He keeps asking me what days he goes and I have to remind him he goes to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am so excited for him to have a great first year of preschool.
