Merry Christmas

We started Christmas Eve at Bryce and Erin's house for a little party. Corbin stayed upstairs with Gage the whole night and was loving the attention from him.
Around eight we started Christmas Eve at Mark and Marianne's house. We read books and sing songs. The kids got their new pj's and a minky blanket.
Traditional family picture on Christmas morning.
Christmas morning is magical with little kids. My kids didn't have anything to specific they wanted for Christmas so they were thrilled with everything they got.  Maggie only asked Santa for a present so she got more than she even asked for.
Kent didn't have any idea what was going on this year. He did like his drums though.
After our own Christmas morning, we headed out to Mark and Marianne's for more presents and fun. Then to my parents for even more. We are so lucky and spoiled.

Santa

My Grandparents always have Santa come to their Christmas Party. This year he was different than usual, and way more mellow. The kids loved it, only one of all the kids cried. Maggie was a little leery. She ran up, got her present and left, but then she did go back and sit on his lap.
Corbin asked Santa for a Nerf gun, and that is what Santa gave him right then. He was amazed!

Davis Christmas Party

My family Christmas party was last weekend. My kids were so excited for it. Mainly to exchange gifts with the cousins. My mom gave each of the kids pillows with their name embroidered on it with a book and it was a hit. Everyone loved them. We had dinner and played lots of games. Such a great night with family.
The kids played ring the reindeer. Erin and Bryce supplied the awesome reindeer. It was way harder than we expected though. Ben is the only one who actually did it.
We had a candy cane relay. We had to pass a candy cane down the row and back using only the candy cane in our mouths. It was a way fun game.
The kids all exchanged their presents. Maggie got a treasure box that she got to paint and decorate. She was thrilled, she is a project girl. She would color, paint, anything all day, everyday.

Christmas Village

My kids all got a nasty strain of the flu this year. They would be sick for a day and the next day they were fine, then they would be so sick again. It was awful. We were supposed to go to milk and cookies with Santa at the Treehouse for family night, but I told my kids we were too sick. My family called and they were all going to Christmas Village, since it was outside I told them we could go. We met Matt there and walked about half of it. Corbin started feeling sick again so we went home. I was way impressed with it this year though. We had a fun time for the short time we were there. As we were leaving, Matt told Maggie they could go to Maverick. Corbin was definitely up for that.

Kent 6 months

Kent's six month appointment was a couple weeks ago. He was 20.5 pound 85% and 27 1/4 inches 72%. His head was off the charts because it is so big. He is sitting up alone now. He is seriously the happiest baby. He is always happy and smiling.

Thanksgiving

Corbin had his Thanksgiving feast the week before Thanksgiving. He wore the same outfit that my sisters and I all wore when we were little. He looked awesome! He chose to bring peanut butter and honey sandwiches to share with his class. My little Setangya: sitting bear.
Thanksgiving day we went to Mark and Marianne's. Maggie looked so darling, but I didn't get a picture of her looking. She was only cute for the first few minutes. She was scared of Matt's cousin Jason, so she screamed the entire time we were there. Finally I just left and went to my parents Thanksgiving dinner. When it was time to go back she freaked out again. I went back and picked up my kids and went straight home. It wasn't the most successful Thanksgiving. I spent about ten hours helping Marianne and Meredith cook and set up and I spent about five minutes eating and didn't even have any pie. Good thing for left overs!

Halloween

It was a battle to get just one picture of my kids for Halloween, so it's a good thing it turned out cute! My giraffe, dinosaur, and ninja.
I didn't get individuals of either of the older kids, it was a bad night. The whole week of the move was crazy! We got to Mark and Marianne's and I forgot Kent's costume and part of Corbin's. All the kids were super tired and so was I. We were home and asleep by nine. It was great.

Halloween Carnival

Corbin's preschool had a Halloween Carnival the day before Halloween. It was so darling. They performed all the Halloween songs they had learned. There were a ton of games, some super cute crafts and a costume parade. Maggie got to go too and had a blast at Corbin's school.
Since living with Meri, Maggie's hair has been significantly more beautiful. And she now hates when I do it, and only wants Meri.

Carving Pumpkins

My kids had been begging for pumpkins for weeks while we were getting ready to move. I never wanted to buy them because it sounded like just one more thing. Luckily Malcolm and Ellie put together a pumpkin carving day at the Jenkins'. All the kids got to ride in the back of the truck to pick out their own pumpkins, which was super exciting on its own.
Then we headed back for the carving.

Corn Maze

On one of my mom's days off when school was out, my family all went to the corn maze at the fish farm.
The "spooky" tunnel was a little much for my kids. Corbin basically had his eyes closed for the whole thing. My kids still talk about how they hate the spooky tunnel and don't want to go back.
As always, they loved feeding the fish. One time I want to take my kids to the fish farm to go fishing.
It was so fun to have a day with all the kids.
