Swimming at the Clearfield pool for Memorial day was so much fun this year! Matt had to work, which was a bummer, but the pool was great. It was a little busy, because it was so cold outside probably. They had a new obstacle course this year that was a hit. Even Meredith and I tried it out. Claire had a good time too. She was so tired, but still as good as always. She easily could have fallen asleep on the floaty Marianne was pushing her around in. My kids always love spending Memorial Day swimming with cousins.

Preschool Graduation
Kent graduated from Ms. Helen's preschool on the 22nd. The graduation was at the fish farm and it was so cold and windy! The kids kept loosing their caps.
Ms. Helen's graduation is always America themed. The kids did a program first with the pledge and a few songs. When they were singing I think your great, they had to hold hands and Kent said, "Oh, I hate this one!" He had sang it to me a ton, I think he hated the fact that he had to hold his friends hands. Kent is excited for Kindergarten!
Kent turned FIVE!
Kent and MaKenna celebrated their birthdays on the 12th at Grandma Jenkins. I was going to make Kent an Avengers cake, but couldn't do it, so Matt made him this awesome Hulk Smash cake.
When he woke up on Monday morning, his real birthday, he got to open his only present from us.
He had a birthday party in April with Maggie so his birthday from us was small. He got some awesome Avenger figures.
He was really excited to go to school with his birthday treat. Ms. Helen gave him an Avengers coloring book too.
After Corbin and Maggie got home from School we went out to my parents house and celebrated his birthday again. My mom had a cake and a balloon. About one minute after he got his balloon he came running in to Shannon. "I am watching my balloon fly towards the mountains!" I think it might have been in an attempt not to cry, but to be happy about it.
Dance pictures
I got Maggie's dance pictures taken a few weeks ago. I was not super happy with the fact that I can't see her face, but she thought it was pretty awesome that she could do her arch back. She was on The Dance Establishment Mini's team this year. This dance, Dirty Laundry, did great all year!

Spring Soccer
Corbin, Maggie, and Kent all finished up AYSO soccer a few weeks ago. Corbin did awesome and is going to do comp next year. Unfortunately most of his games got moved to the afternoons because of flooded fields so I didn't get to see many, or take pictures of him actually playing.
Maggie is also a great little soccer player and loved playing, as long as no one touched her.
Kent wasn't quite as amused. He would just ask Matt when it was his turn to sit out. Or he would just watch the other kids play. When I asked if he wanted to play again next year though, he said for sure!
Claire was the best little cheerleader through it all, unless she was napping!

Kayaking
In the spring, North Ogden floods the soccer fields, their retention ponds. It was really cold outside, but my kids wanted to go kayaking and Kent and Maggie wanted to swim. It was perfect kayaking for my kids because it wasn't deep. They could have stayed for hours, but it was a school night so it had to be cut short.
