My hard working man

Yesterday we hung out at my mom's for a while.  She asked Corbin, Beau, and Kael if they wanted to go outside and help her clean up leaves. We all went outside and the boys started playing,  while my mom swept. Then I noticed Corbin sulking on the grass.  When I asked what was wrong he asked what he was supposed to be doing to help grandma. So I got him and Kael a shovel and they worked hard to help grandma clean up her leaves.  I loved that he was sad that he wasn't given instruction on how help.

Trunk or Treat

This year Halloween was pretty mellow. The only thing we did the entire day of Halloween was go to our ward Trunk or Treat. I was going to go visit a few people earlier in the day, but my car died, so we stayed home. Corbin insisted on being Batman. We had two costumes for him to choose from (neither of which were Batman), but every time someone asked what he was going to be, he said Batman. So two days before Halloween I gave in and went looking for a Batman. There were none, so I bought him these pajamas and he thought they were the coolest thing ever. 

We wanted to be Goldilocks and the three bears though. So I told him he could be Batman inside, but when we went outside he had to be a bear. 

Just for the record, we had the coolest trunk there. We are the only ones who decorated at all. Thanks Shan for the idea. Everyone loved it.

My kids thought the trunk or trat was awesome. I think they are lame, but it did work out great for my kids. They were in bed by 8:30 and still thought they had the best night ever. I did miss seeing family though.
