Maggie decided to come on her own 12 days early. I woke up around midnight and started having contractions. At one we called Adam and Michelle to come sit with Corbin. We were admitted by two o'clock and Maggie was born at 4:34 am. It was all a little unreal how fast everything happened.

She stayed in my room for less than an hour and then they took her to NICU transition to do lab work. I was group B strep positive and because my labor was so fast I barely got one full dose of antibiotic in. Finally after what seemed like forever, but only like four hours later she was cleared to stay in my room. We were discharged on Easter Sunday.

Then the craziness began. We came home to a crazy sick Corbin and found out he had RSV. He is old enough that it was just a really bad cold, but he couldn't be near Maggie. Thanks to wonderful family we were able to keep them away as best we could without upsetting Corbin too much. So our first week was spent with me only touching Maggie and Matt only touching Corbin. This is as close as Corbin was able to see his sister for the whole week.

Luckily Matt was able to have the entire week off of work, which was a life saver. There is no way I could have done anything without him. He is now feeling much better and is loving his baby sister. Not loving my lack of attention so much, but it's a work in progress.

We love Maggie so much and are so glad our precious little girl is here!
