Best Friends

The weather has been amazing, and we are taking it all in! We have been outside as much as possible these last few days. My kids even went outside and played together . . . without me! It lasted like a half hour and it was pure bliss. I just watched them through the window as I actually cleaned my kitchen. Hopefully this will continue through the summer since I will be consumed with our new little guy.

Grandma's Valentine's Day Party

Later in the afternoon on Valentine's Day, Grandma Jenkins had everyone over for a party. We decorated sugar cookies, ate heart shaped pizza, and read Valentine books.

Matt didn't get home from work until 9:30 on Valentine's day. Luckily, the kids went to bed really good for me, miraculously!

Preschool Valentine's Party

 Corbin's preschool teacher was out of town for Valentine's Day, so I was the substitute teacher. It was a fun day to teach because it was basically all fun and games! There were only three boys because the other two were gone. The games went by crazy fast with only the three of them though. I had to do some quick spur of the moment craft to kill some of the time.

 The best games was when it rained balloons! There were so many balloons and only the three boys so it was impossible to keep them off the ground, but they had so much fun!

 They each got to take home one of the balloons and they had their cute Valentine bags they made in class last time.

It was interesting to see Corbin in his school setting, even though I know he was different because I was there. It also gave me a taste of what I really want to do when we get into our own house. It was a little hard because I wasn't doing everything the way their teacher does and they sure noticed, but I still enjoyed it.
