Spring Pictures

 This year I decided I was too cheap and lazy to schedule and pay for my kids spring pictures, so I took them myself. I actually loved that it wasn't stressful and they turned out pretty decent. I took them in shifts which was really nice too. Corbin 13, Maggie 11, Kent 9, Claire 5, Van 2

KBell Lagoon Day

 I love KBell lagoon day because it is the only day of the season that we spend the entire day at Lagoon with our whole family. My kids always love it because it is the only time he lets them play the games there. This year he may have spend a small fortune, but everyone walked away with either a stuffed animal or a sand bucket. Matt always takes the three older ones to do the big rides so I only get pictures of Claire and Van. We had lots of fun. I did tell my kids I would ride one big ride and they chose Wicked. It was my first time and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Then I chose Wild Mouse, other than that, I watch in kiddy land.

Van hadn't been feeling too great, I thought maybe he had pink eye, but we took him anyway. He enjoyed it, but he kept getting worse as the day went on. He fell asleep at Lagoon-a-beach and when he woke up his eyes were practically glued shut and so swollen. We still ended up staying for a while because Jack, Evie, and Quentin came and met us.

This year for dinner KBell just gave money instead of purchasing the food at the park (because it was so bad last year.) It was super nice that way. We left and took our kids to McDonalds on the way home. It is always a long day, but a super fun one! I like our shirts this year too because they didn't say Lagoon Day on them, they were actually pretty cute.

Final Dance Revue

Maggie's favorite part of the final revue the past two years is that Aunt Shelly does her makeup. Maggie looked gorgeous for the show! Michelle is so talented at makeup and I love that she is willing to do this for Maggie. The final production this year was wicked. Maggie's costume was darling! As always, it was a great show. And then I am always relieved to make it to summer break!

Memorial Day Swimming

 I love that Melissa has a pool! It makes swimming on memorial day even more fun because it is lax at her pool. Marianne buys lunch and we all swim for the afternoon. Van and Claire got brave this time and were both jumping off the diving board. It took a lot of convincing to get Van to do it the first time and then I couldn't keep him off. He loved it! I love how well all the cousins get along and hang out together. Steve makes pina coladas every year and the girls serve everyone. It is a super fun day!

Dance Pictures

 Maggie just finished up her dance year on Preteen Company. She definitely stood out this year as one of the best dancers on her team, front and center. Her teachers were Chauni, Katie, and Mickenzie. It was a good year, but she is so excited to move up next year. She met her goal of making it onto the plus track for next year!
