On Monday, since the kids were out of school, my family all went down to Salt Lake to visit the Church History Museum. My kids had never been there before and they thought it was super cool.
I think this pulley system that showed how they built the temple may have been Corbin's favorite part. He thought it was awesome.
I loved to see the statue of Moroni that goes on top of the temples.
The kids area of the museum was super fun. Kent finally found a spot that he loved. He could have stayed in this spot much longer than we actually did.
I loved taking my kids to see the Christus. I wish we would have started here because Kent (and me) were so done by the time we made it here. It was still awesome to watch my kids here though. I think my kids might have a greater understanding of the importance of our Savior than other two, four, and six year olds. They know it is because of Him we get to see our Emmett again! I love their strong testimonies that help strengthen me all the time!
This is missing Kent, because it is just way to difficult to get everyone in the same picture.
Salt Lake is really so amazing. For how close we live it is too bad I don't take my kids more often. We missed so much that we need a few more little day trips just to see everything. It was a great way to spend a day off of school.
