Autumn

I love fall, and this year has been wonderful.  With so many days to play outside, we have been taking advantage of them.  Today my kids played in the leaves at Grandma Davis' house. She had the perfect leaves to jump in, they were soft and so colorful!

Corn Maze

 Corbin's preschool went on a fieldtrip to the corn maze at Barker's Fish Farm. Maggie and I both went with him and had so much fun. This is the first field trip Maggie has done well at. Corbin loved the maze and did surprisingly well in the little haunted house. He was a little scared and held my hand, but he walked through the whole thing and said he liked it afterwards.

 I've given up on ever getting my two children to look at the same time, there is no hope when I have more.

We stayed and ate lunch and all the kids just ran around. It was such a perfect morning to be outside. I have loved the fall weather this year.

Baby #3

Thought I would put it out there since most people already know, that baby Jenkins #3 will be joining our family in May. We are super excited for another addition to our family!

Halloween Fun

 My mom had a little Halloween party at her house last night. We started with some Halloween Bingo. Corbin won a spooky goblet that he loved.

 The older kids got to turn the shed into a spook alley, and they did an awesome job! The younger kids were waiting for the okay to enter the spook alley.

 Maggie loved it, she wanted to keep going in, until her fingers froze from pulling ice out of Matt's cup. My mom pulled out these mittens that I used when I was little. They are on a string and thread through your jacket. Maggie hated them. Right here she is pointing at the shed wanting to go in again.

The kids did such a great job. Abby stood above a pot of red water with a flash light completely still the entire time. She was quite authentic. My kids thought this was the perfect amount of spookiness.

Family Reuinion

In August the Jenkins' had their annual family reunion. Corbin went up on Thursday with Melissa and Steve. Then Maggie, Matt and I went up on Friday morning. I couldn't bring myself to do two nights of camping with Maggie, which proved to be a good decision. We camped at Daniel's Summit, it was a perfect spot. Corbin slept really well, but Maggie hardly slept at all. Finally at like 5 am Matt took her for a ride in the car, until he started to fall asleep.

Corbin made a fire with some rocks the first day when we weren't up there and he played/worked there practically the entire time. It was so nice, he was almost always 20 feet from the main pavillion. If only Maggie would have always been in my sight.She had fun too, but was a lot harder to keep up with.

Corbin has been asking to go camping again ever since this reunion. He had so much fun. He always talks about camping with Missy though, I might as well not have gone. We all had a great time though.
