Claire and I went to Camp Keisel for Day Camp this week. This was Claire's first year and she loved it. Honestly, Camp Keisel is not my favorite, but this was the best year so far. There was only one other group there and the weather was super nice for most of it. I could have done without the dino dig and nature walk, but overall, a good day.

SIXTEEN
Seriously!?! I have a sixteen year old! Corbin turned 16 on a Monday and was able to get his drivers license on Tuesday. He then left for trek on Wednesday so he hasn't had too many opportunities to be free, but he is sure excited. I may be just as excited as he is to not have early morning practices to drive to. He got a tackle box, air pods, and a full length mirror for his birthday. I love this kid so much!
St. George
The Jenkins vacation was in St. George at Desert Colors resort this year. It was such a cool property. We had a super cool house with a pool in the backyard and the lagoon right behind us. We pretty much just stayed at the house and swam the whole time. My three older kids did go to Big Shots golf one night. The pool was warm so the kids loved it. Van got to swim without his life jacket for a lot of it and improved his swimming skills so much. The lagoon was much more refreshing and where Matt and I chose to spend our swimming time mostly. Our family had to leave one night early for a funeral, but the weekend was great!
6th Grade Graduation
It is hard to believe Kent is done with elementary school! He received the Hope of America award from Mrs. Bedwell at graduation, with $20 cash. Kent is an amazing student and is so ready to be challenged in junior high. He also received the perseverance award, honor roll, peer leader, and high honor for Math, ELA, and Science.
Family Pictures
I had family pictures scheduled and then Van broke his arm. I didn't want his cast in the pictures so we post poned until mid may. Having pictures in the middle of the craziest month of the year isn't ideal, but I am so glad I have them now! I love this family of mine!
Oscars Red Carpet Revue
My girls finished up their dance season with an Oscars Red Carpet Revue. Maggie danced to Purple Rain and Runway. Claire performed all of her comp dances and then Men in Black for the production. I love the final revue, and I also love when we get a break from dance for the summer. Maggie was in a rec class with mostly older girls. She really enjoyed it. Claire finished this year of minis and decided she isn't going to dance again next year. I may end of putting her in a rec class once a week, but we'll see.
Preschool Graduation
Van graduated from Bright Beginnings Preschool! He is so funny about school. He never really wanted to go and told me he didn't like it, but he always seemed like he did. His teachers told me he did great while he was there too. When the kids all said their favorite parts of school, Van said lining up to go home. Silly Boy! He had cute little preschool friends and had amazing teachers. It is so crazy to me that the preschool stage of life is over forever.
